On October 8th Clarke Art Consulting & The Whitley Gallery hosted an art show celebrating the art of incarcerated men in Richmond as part of the MAE exhibit Clarke Art Consulting host every year. I was asked to provide an installation to celebrate their powerful works. Big thank you to the Whitley Gallery and Clarke Art consulting for this great opportunity.

So much of my work is imagination driven and inspired, I had to make a section on this site that showed the brain behind Ham?. This Video highlights one of my favorite Record Labels. Its star headliner, Madlib was one of the first artist who really got me to open my mind up to explore different genre’s of music and culture. I though this video might be a great opener to anyone out there who has heard of or has skiped over Stones throw as your typical Label. In any case art is art and I definitly feel and relate to the artist on this label. Do what you enjoy, not what makes you the most money
Enjoy!
Its great when you find something you’ve disregard long ago and find new life in it. This was a concept sketch I did for a project at Binford middle school in Richmond, Va. Though I’ve used this piece before, Im thinking of retouching it. Hmmmmmm…
Im starting of 2011 with new work, which is headed by the opportunity to do a album cover for the local band Curial Elements. This is just a concept, but it just feels good just to be behind a drafting board again, working it out. There new album will be called GROW. What an insane concept to trust my imagination with. Check out There site below. I”ll make sure I show the end result here on the site soon!

This piece is no where near finished, but I’m posting this because of the nostalgia it brought me. The piece is not named yet but it’s inspiration was brought on by my feeling about the Patriot Act. Its been fun creating this piece because of the amount of time its taking me to draft out the background. Something about that just brings me joy. Architecture still runs deep in my work.
Extra Terrestrial was recently put in my bedroom, and it seemed to be missing something. Before I knew it I was up on the wall painting. Hopefully the line work will expand with time.

I had the pleasure of Participating in a Event here at Art Space that included 9 other Graff Artist. The event gave us a 5 days to Install the piece of your liking on the canvas/walls of the studio. At the time the BP oil spill was the talk of the town which along with a friends interesting solute pic gave me this vision.

On March 5th I had a chance to collaborate with Daniel Johnson at a Alb Tech event. The theme for the piece was Hero’s and Villains. It was great working with another artist who uses the same medium as I do. In richmond i don’t to often get the chance to work with other creative graffiti type artist. The piece turned out great and was auctioned off at the end of the night. Thanks Daniel Im sure we will work again together in the future!

First Collaboration Piece with Melody Llewellyn turned out great. Melody is amazing artist from Canada who asked me to do a collaboration piece with her. When i first saw her style I fell in love with her Love Bombs and love of Pink. Hopefully this is the first of many. I call it “Bay of Pigs!”
